1.  The installation I enjoyed the most was the one that included two images of projected light, facing one another, in the shape of a cone that displayed as a circle on the wall. This installation seemed to be the most interactive. It was something you could walk through, enter, and be part of. You got to see how the light bends and shifts, or where it lands when you stand in it. Personally, I believe  it was the strongest piece in the exhibit of McCall's. If I could chose a shape to represent me it wouldn't be the image projected on to the wall, but the tunnel created by the light and smoke in the room. I choose the tunnel because it had movement, it was shifting and at the same time still. In life right now I feel like I'm evolving a lot while feeling like I'm in the same place I was before, I'm changing but my life is still continuing slowly. The next question asked if the shadows change the artwork, and it did, but it was more interesting to me to see the stark...

1. I think that creating a classroom newsletter is probably one of the easiest ways to communicate an idea to a class,  especially if it is about learning information rather than learning a technique. 2. It wasn't tool hard to create. I made it all myself, I didn't use a template at all. I basically just made it look organized, but I wish I knew how to hide the guidelines. 3. It definitely made me practice my skills a lot. For every picture I used I would photoshop it to fit the size I needed. I also made the backgrounds on photoshop. 

After discussing about our observations, I have realized that most everyone can see similar situations at different school environments. Anxiety and stress seem to be growing amongst most students in school. There was also the mention of focus groups, where students and teachers meet once a week to discuss their goals for the week. This was something I experienced my freshmen year. Something different from my experience that I heard was the inclusion of students to enter the art classroom on their own time during study halls. The students I observed were allowed to come in after school, but were not necessarily allowed to flow in and out of class. If I could take anything away it's that I will need to find out how many preps are required of me. In the future I would like to observe under a woman, I'd like to observe in an elementary school, and possibly a private or charter school.

Part One: My newsletter is a How-To Guide on discussing artwork effectively. My audience is upper level art students, my peers, and anyone transitioning into art professionally. Part Two: "Creating a Newsletter"- Using In Design allows you to place images within, under or around text. You can do this by selecting File, Place, then you can adjust the layer it is on or the position it is in to modify it. "Wrapping Text around Objects"- Under the Typography workspace you can use Text Wrap to incorporate different size texts and join it with the rest of the text. After finding the wrap that fits best with your letter/word you can choose wrap to the largest area which will fix any unwanted wrapped text. "Placing Graphics"- You can use File, Place to insert a graphic, from there you can change the shape of the image by cropping it by dragging the edge lines. Then you can change the scale by selecting the scale tool that fits with your image located on ...

1. I chose Infogram because it seemed like the simplest one available and it seemed the most similar to Photoshop. The pros are that you can use the same shortcuts (for the most part) as photoshop. The cons are that it can be awkward when you try to select a specific text box or shape. It also didn't let me download what I made so I just print-screened and combined them on photoshop. 2. I chose Color Harmonies as my topic for this class. I chose it because I found that these were the hardest names to remember in high school. I used the Location and Hierarchy methods for my infographic; I did this by organizing each section the same way to avoid confusion, as well I organized them from least to most complex. 3. I definitely prefer the online one, or I would if I could've dowloaded my work without paying 19.99 a month. 1. InDesign lets you create higher quality designs that have more ability for interaction. There are only vectors so there will never be any form of unwanted blur. It allows you to change the text of works and allows for some changes on only the text you want to include. It is faster than Word is, as simpler. 2. Creating a new document allows you to start a document, change the size and format of it. It can also have a color theme, or can be a basic white rectangle to begin with. 3. Adding text can be done through the use of the Text tool, to click and drag to create a rectangular text box. You can also use the text fill tool that allows you to type inside of a shape. You can also place text as an image if you chose to (as am image itself). 4. By using the paragraph and character styles you can select some text, or multiple selections of text, depending on what you want to do. You can always highlight to change individual text. 5.
